Salvation Secures Promises

John 1:1-5 Amplified Bible (AMP)

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].

God came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.  His dying on the cross represents many things:

  • Sins washed away

  • New Life

  • Sacrifice

Many people believe they are too dirty to come to Christ.  But this is wrong thinking.  In fact Christ wants you unconditionally.  Do not worry about cleaning up.  He has that covered.  Just open your heart and invite him in.  Salvation allows a new life to be birthed.  But it will require sacrifices.  But remember He has got you covered.  Give your heart to God today.  He is waiting.

It’s simple. Speak this out loud:
Lord I confess my sins to you and believe in my heart that you died and rose for my sins; And now I ask that you come into my heart and do a new thing in me!

That is it! And if you commit and allow God to love on you your nights will turn to day. His light will illuminate your path to the Promised Land He has in store just for you! Press in and see His mercies are new everyday!  Rest, study, and meditate on His word!

God has a lot of bright ideas. Get plugged in!
